Thoughts About Panhandlers

I sat down with four young men and chatted about pan-handlers, people begging on the streets.
My pet-peeve? When a MAN asks me for money.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in helping those who are less fortunate than I am, but something doesn't sit right with me when an able-bodied man approaches me for a hand-out.

I can possibly see if it is an older man, like a senior citizen needing help, but not someone who is younger than me and fairly robust.

What are your thoughts about this?
